Jules Wainstein is new to The Real Housewives of New York and as soon as she met her new co-stars, they all started questioning everything about her life. Jules is so skinny that even Bethenny Frankel thought she was too skinny. While Jules and Bethenny got off on the wrong foot, Wainstein decided to sit down with Frankel to get to know her better. And it sounds like her eating disorder was something they could bond about. According to a new report, Jules Wainstein is now explaining that she shared her eating disorder journey for the better. And it sounds like Frankel understood the pain she carried around.
“I think it’s really vulnerable and courageous, and I have a lot of respect for Jules for sharing this,” Bethenny said during the episode. “I’ve known people who for their whole, entire lives never admit it.”
When Jules Wainstein went on Watch What Happens Live, she opened up about her journey with an eating disorder. “You know, I’m not like, ‘Hi, I’m Julianne Wainstein, and I have an eating disorder,'” she told Andy Cohen during Watch What Happens Live, adding,”But if it’s appropriate, like at that time we had lunch together, and she asked me why I had a break in my college years. And I said, ‘Oh, because I was in a treatment center.’ It was the right time, and I’m very open about it. It’s part of my recovery.”
She admits that she could work on her eating disorder on a daily basis, as she can live with this issue. And this could hint that she does struggle with it daily. “Every day’s a new day. You’re never cured of an eating disorder, but you live with it, and you can live a life with it. It’s really hard to talk about,” she said. “You can live with it, and you can live a normal life.”
