Many have wondered whether Pamela Anderson will pay homage to her “Baywatch” roots by appearing in the upcoming movie reboot. The actress became the breakout star of the show in the late 1980s.
During an interview with “Entertainment Tonight Canada,” Anderson said she’s considering a cameo but hasn’t made up her mind yet.
“I haven’t turned it down completely yet, but I have turned down what they offered me,” she revealed. “We’ll see what happens.
“Baywatch was such a huge part of my life and really they’re trying to do an homage and, you know, it’s an honor to have them want me to be a part of it so bad.”
The Playboy pinup was unable to spill any secrets about the film because she doesn’t know anything about it. “I haven’t even read the script. I have no idea what it’s about,” she added.
Anderson, 48, did reveal that she can still fit in the iconic red swimsuit she wore during her stint on the series. “I’ve worn the suit a few times. I jumped in the shower and saved a few men in my life just around my house. It still fits,” she said.
It has since been put up for auction.
The revamp stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron.
